| My Morning Jacket – What a Wonderful Man Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I always gets the idea that this is some kind of religious song where what a wonderful man is a reference to jesus. I don't really think that's what Jim thought when he penned it down but some parts in the lyrics, the chorus and the third verse is really close on target. |

| Pearl Jam – No Way Lyrics | 20 years ago |

If you look at it in paranid's point of view it all makes great sense. And I really think it's good that some famous people actually do charity without later on apear on Opera and talk about how great they are. It really makes me sick watching those people milk it for ever when they never really had to do anything really hard to get where they are today. |

I heard that the album will be out by May 2 too. Read it on the pearl jam forum that some radiostation in USA said so. It haven't been verified by the 10club yet so its just rumors. But it sure as hell would be great, imagine a Pearl Jam concert next summer :D I don't really know what the song is about but some parts are clearly about the state of America nowadays. |

| Alice in Chains – Nutshell Lyrics | 20 years ago |

My guess is the same as cornerstone's was with small changes. The first verse is about growing up and being forced to act in a certain way. Everybody except him wants to be this way so he fights the battle on society all alone. The missprinted lies part has always been the bible for me and how he can't understand that people still believes in over 4000 years old lies. The second part of the song is the part about how the media always taking shots at him and tries to show that he's a "bad man. It can also be about stardom and the backsides of it. |

I agree that the song is about heroin adiction, but i think the chorus is more leaning toward suicide thouhts. The "I wish i couldn't ..... at all" speaks for itself. |
