for sure. this song is sick. the mixing is sick. you could hear the lalalas throughout the song. It has kind of like a 50s doowop band thing cause the guitar is slow picking. Its the same refrain for like 80% of the song. The lyrics are cool. "Could you believe me somehow? You're second to none, and you got my love. You got me under the gun. Could you receive me somehow? I'll stay with ya, stay with ya, stay with ya 'til the end." It's like he took the plunge. Like love is suicide but he chose it. This guy is a great frickin artist. Word dawg |

This song hits home. His girl did him wrong. She left him for somebody else. he did everything for her and gave her all he had. she effed him over. she's gonna get what she deserves, and he'll be saying i told you so. this lifts the spirits of the broken hearted. it's not my sound but it means the world to me. |

what is wrong with everybody? people dwell on the dumbest shit. honestly. both albums were great. they are different but great, and if they stayed the same all these years, it would honestly get boring. at least to me it would. bands evolve, but basically stick to their roots. in this case it is excellent songwriting and catchy tunes. i honesty love both albums, and the new one is gonna be fantastic, just because it is taking back sunday! so i think this song is about somebody who is into someone else, and just might be with that person. hence, "I'm gonna make damn sure That you can't ever leave No you won't ever get too far from me You won't ever get too far from me" The person he is with might be with him, but she might not actually be into him or whatever. "And we lay, we lay together Just not too close, too close (How close is close enough?) And we lay, we lay together Just not too close, too close (How close is close enough?)" He wants to "break" her down emotionally. my favorite line is "you hollow out my hungry eyes" it is a catchy part. not sure what it means though. i think that he only sees her, hollow of everything else around him. right? right! yeah so basically he is saying i'm into you a lot! i'm gonna make you want me more and you won't ever want to leave! okay? okay! peace in the middle east yo! hollaback with a comment about my comment! |
