[The story of King Arthur's half-sister. She was a sorceress, and was privy to the secrets of Black Magic. It was because of her that Arthur found out about the relationship between Lancelot and Guinevere. She set Mordred against Arthur and played a key role in Arthur's life] |

Keep in mind that Bathory is famous for innovating viking metal. Ravens are also Odin's birds. He owns two named Thought and Memory and they tell him all that goes on in the 9 worlds. |

sorrows of war? This song pumps me up and with lines like "together we ride, into destiny!" it's pretty much an inspirational song.
Also, a bit of extra info towards the meaning: Odin has two ravens/blackbirds who tell him all the things that go on in the 9 worlds |

| Amon Amarth – Hermod's Ride to Hel - Loke's Treachery Part 1 Lyrics
| 18 years ago

|
Yes. The twist is that Loke, who killed Balder indirectly, doesn't weep for Balder and he stays dead. The gods do a whole mess of shit to Loke after that which is probably what part 2 will be about. Go read the Eddas to find out what I'm too lazy to type it > |

Y'know combined with the little quote from that guy's poem at the start of the song the whole direction of the song turns into "Life sucks then you die but untill then let's have a fucking party and listen to more Children of Bodom!" |

Artos... wow that's a fucking awesome thought. It fits... surprisingly well.
About the trilogy thing... thanks to the song titles I also thought these songs were a trilogy about some dude who starts a revolution but fails and is executed. Silly me x_X |

| Demons and Wizards – Path Of Glory Lyrics
| 19 years ago
|
Hmm... think about it. Path of Glory is a term used by Christians to describe their lifestyle and such. It's basically a song about the Christian way of life and how faith gives you strength etc.
I think it's awesome D&W plays a song about the darker side of religion with Poor Man's Crusade then breaks into this song. Honestly, if songs in church sounded like this I might actually attend. |

Why are so many fucks complaining about how the lyrics are messed up or something. I would agree the lyrics are disgusting if I could understand them. They act like you know what the song is saying when you don't have the lyric sheet in front of you. I can't understand a word out of this guys mouth unless I'm sitting still and carefully following along with the song with my lyric sheet in hand trying not to headbang or go crazy. I listen to death metal because of the aggresiveness. Not the fucking lyrics. |

| Metallica – Master of Puppets Lyrics

Best Metallica song ever.
It's about drugs... period.
Not any specific drug... just the ones that will mess you up. "Chop your breakfast on a mirror" is most likely cocaine. The line about needlework is about heroin. Any previous lines are nuetral to pretty much all drugs. .... Look at any live performances as well for proof it's about coke and heroin. During the line "Fix me" or "Face me" or whatever he makes a hand gesture and injects himself in the arm. |

| Dying Fetus – Praise The Lord (opium Of The Masses) Lyrics
| 20 years ago
|
Pretty much... I don't exactly think he's saying there isn't a God, he's just saying that the people over in the Mideast and such are killing each other over such matters. They're misreading and going blind by the books which are mean't to help them live life. What's happening there is everything that those books want to avoid.. but instead they are killing each other... Opium of the Masses.
Very good song, I especially love the intro. |

Odd... I never knew this song was performed by The Livid... I downloaded this song from a p2p and it says the artists are Incubus, Finger 11 and A Perfect Circle. Is there anyway to prove these guys sing it or that someone else does? I really want to know who sings this good song. |
