i think he wants to take a girl he loves away from this bullshit material world and make their own reality, their own perception of life. then there's political crap like "taugh to be, how did it come to be" and "you should never be afraid." other quotes like "regress into a dream" and "follow your instincts" make the lyrics kind of obvious. but that's just me, form your own ideas and interpretation of this music. muse is the shit.
and as a correction, the correct lyrics are " tied to a railroad, no one to set us free", not "tied to a railroad, you'll have to set us free." |
