I do see the reference to religion in this song. The "temple", the "sacred place" may very well be a church, a place that gives hope to people. But, on the other hand, this "entity" doesn't know what he's feeling, it's asking him to share his thoughts openly, so this "entity" might be a person, that person we all want to have, that will always welcome us with arms wide open and listen to our problems, supporting us all the time. A very uplifting and beautiful song, which is something we all need sometimes. |
