Green1 perhaps the person didn't go on holiday, and instead it could be Dryden talking about coming back from a tour of some sort and everything has changed. "Eyes they burn from stinging travel" could be about the lack of sleep on tour, and long journeys to show venues. That interpretation seemed more obvious to me. |

I think these lyrics describe a person who seeks relationships in which they can hurt the other person. I think "Suicide Eyes" refers to the way they hurt the relationship, but the other half is the one hurt most in the end which is suggested by "Finding comfort in their wreckage ". |
