I have a hard time putting my interpretation into words, but here goes. To me, it's about coming to the realization that you are not the sum of your possessions, your job title, your professional status, [insert fight club quote here, if you want] etc. The realization that what much of what you've been fed through western culture is shallow and false. The realization that you need to try to leave those things behind, and cleanse yourself. He's scrambling/struggling to understand this new reality, as he finds out that the life he had built up is not the solid foundation he originally was lead to believe it was. |

| If this song is putting out that much bass, then you need to learn how to tune your stereo system or buy a decent head unit. Nothing is worse than listening to music in a car that's made to exaggerate the bass so everyone around you can hear how 'awesome' your speakers are. | |
