I have listened to that. Never thought of checking backwards.. Anyway, this 15 minute mammoth is a reworking of the original, Killers are Quiet that can be found on MFKR. The meaning is basically the same as the one from MFKR. The song is about someone who kills women and recreates them in his own image, like a living doll type thing. Corey was butt-naked and all cut up and bleeding during the recording of this song. |

The song's based loosely on a 1960's movie called The Collector. The Collector is about a guy who kidnaps this girl and basically adds her to his collection and keeps her. It's a weird kind of psychological thing, and Prosthetics takes it a little bit further - where he is put into a deep sick psychosis as he goes through the whole collecting thing, at the end of the song he ends up killing her and having sex with her. |

I listened to this song while reading these lyrics and the only thing wrong is 'never-ever-serrated-I wont allow it'. Im not sure if this has the same basic meaning as Purity or if the meaning of the words were changed to fit the Purity story. Purity is better in my opinion (better sound). |
