I love this song to pieces. So much so that I watched the video over and over and wrote down some of the things that come on the screen, but pass by so fats you can't read all of them. Yeah, I agree with all the "this is about Pete and Carl" stuff, because it is, same with "What Became Of The Likely Lads?", it's about them fighting, and how it would eventually come to an end. Very, very sad. I have an acoustic version with just Carl singing it and it's horribly.. upsetting if you know the whole story. he sounds sad singing it. |
