i love how haunting this song is...and when sonny screams NOOO i love the double bass at the end, it sounds absolutly perfect. i think the song means that when you lose everything is the only time when you really start to try and pick yourself back up..because you never really start out with nothing unless you lose something to begin with. |

probably because alot of the songs an analogy to rough sex...and id imagine that most people don't have rough sex with their gfs on a regular basis...so after he fucks her, he probably never talks to her again and breaks her heart..and the whole song is a western analogy, which, jonbash, i find amazingly talented, even if the vocals may sound whiny, do u honestly think you could write something with as many double meanings and still have it sound as good? i doubt it, as i know i can't and ive tried...repeatedly, and im never satisfied. and for the record, u better fucking believe that i would still listen to them if they were ugly...i listen to black sabbath and ozzy isn't exactly a hot piece of ass these days...so granted, sex appeal draws alot of people in...but then again, doesn't music as a whole? and anarkissed, i hope you know that travis sings this song and not sonny...though i wouldn't mind if either one of them touched my leg... |

to me the song sounds more like he wants to have casual sex, but once he starts, he finds that he doesn't like it but has to deal with it now. i think the first time he says the verse "why do we need this...." its because he feels like he's lost all hope in love and just doesn't care anymore, but the second time he says that verse i think its more about sex instead of love, meaning that sex is more of a sport than a bond |

there was an EP released awhile ago with a different vocalist, but Sonny sings on DDMTAHABC. However, he doesn't sing this song, Travis, the guitarist does. Sonny was having throat surgery or something stupid done on him at the time they were recording this. and yea, this is the best xmas song created. |
