| I've never seen Donnie Darko, I actually heard this song on C.S.I. as weird as that is lol. Anyway, I love Gary Jules' version sooo much, it makes me want to cry because it's so beautiful. I don't think the lyrics are that brilliant like everyone's saying they are. | this song is so beautiful!!! I think it's about when you're in a relationship and the person your with always tries to make up excuses or "alibi's" for not being there when they should've or for whatever reason and how you get really upset but you love them and "eat the lie" every time.
