Stars – Soft Revolution Lyrics 19 years ago
Pomaceous-
I'm definitely agreeing with your thoughts. As a sort of side note, you may in fact know this, the Digital Underground was a alt-rap group of sorts in the early nineties, which most people would probably know either by the famous Humpty Hump character or for the fact that they were largely responsible for the early career of Tupac. What it has to with this song is beyond me.

Shabutie – Strung Short Lyrics 20 years ago
I'm not just saying this because I don't understand the use of "hard-on" in these contexts, but honestly I've been listening, and I hear "and I'm gonna hold on, I'm running as fast as I can" and "my hide-out is broken." Both of these seem to make more lyrical sense, and we have to remember that Claudio has weird pronunciation in many cases. Could be wrong though, idk...

Coheed and Cambria – Neverender Lyrics 20 years ago
The last time he says "don't forget son when he's out on his own." This song is about Claudio fleeing death at the hands of the F.B.I. or Mayo. He travels off into space and this song is him thinking hopefully of a brighter future, while simultaneously missing his parents and his family. At the end my understanding is that he falls asleep and everything following that through either Three Evils or The Crowing on IKSSE:3 is a dream-reality of sorts. That is all to the best of my understanding.

Hawthorne Heights – Niki FM Lyrics 20 years ago
I don't think it's supposed to be stalkerish at all - it's clearly a reference to Say Anything. Anyway, this music is not for me - I find this genre to be almost entirely monotonous. The irony of emo is that their is no emotional versatility there at all. The emotion ranges from sad angst to angry angst. More importantly, the only part of this song that is interesting musically is the verse riff, which is almost EXACTLY the same as the opening riff of Everything Evil by Coheed & Cambria. Download the song and see for yourself. Take the Coheed riff, raise both chords by a major second, and replace the multiple technically proficient guitar fills with a single easy to play guitar fill that is repeated, and you have Niki FM. Good job, Hawthorne Heights. Maybe you should focus less on the way your hair falls or the way your girls' jeans accent your bulge and more on writing your own music.
