well the ghetto is referring to the warsaw ghetto and the town in warsaw after nazi occupation and treblinka was an extermination (not concentration) camp that the people from the ghetto were sent to. mix in a love story and youve got a pretty good song |

I could throw quarters in a frying pan and call it music. Yeah and trust me I know there does not have to be words coming out of someones mouth seeing as how I do play with an orchestra ( in case you didn't know, we dont have a singer in orchestra). So my question is, what led you to believe that I don't have any musical knowledge? In my previous post I said this MUSIC sucks. So I mean, maybe you should read something before you say some dumb shit like..."Music is not a concrete thing, it is subjective. There doesn't even have to be words coming out of someone's mouth to call it music. The fact that you can not understand this shows that you have no "real" musical knowledge." I never said it wasn't music. I just said it was really bad music. I said how can you call this music, because it really is just noise to me and I find it hard to call it music and I don't understand why most people do. But like I said throwing quarters in a frying pan could be interpreted as music. You can say the ocean rolling is music. Point is you can say anything is music. So when I say how can you call this music, I am not saying that it ISN'T music because anything can be music, I just wonder why you consider it good music. I do consider it music. Just bad music. So don't bitch about it anymore. Also you said I was on songmeanings.com well it's songmeanings.net and you are complaining about my posts. If I need to get a life then so do you, you keep arguing back so you obviously can not get over someone disagreeing with you. As for harleguinxgirl... yes music is such an awesome thing I deff agree with you. And if you like that song then that is cool. I just started by posting that I really hated it. But I was unaware to be critical you had to be constructive. Anyways, thanks for at least not being a jerk. |

the lyrics really are terrible...I understand them and how poorly they are written. I do have a fairly good knowledge of music. And I play several musical instruments with prowess. the funeral needs a star? as you walk away for the last time could you hear my heart consumed behind you? those are so blatantly bad that just saying they're good instantly makes you an idiot. seriously this music sucks. and generalzations on people are usually correct, but I am not generalizing anything, I am just commenting on how terrible this song is and how if you like it and find it meaningful, then you need to get a life. |

wow, those are some pretty terrible lyrics, not well written at all, and if you think they are then you haven't even heard good music. I mean seriously, this stuff sucks, shows very little talent and is a pain to listen to. pop in some red hot chili peppers or something. and the song itself is quite possibly about a loved one. unfading beauty, not just a face could be talking about his girlfriends soul, as there is more to beauty than what we see on the outside, of course you all knew that already. and he can easily see his girlfriend as innocent opposed to him, to say that nothing in this world is innocent is a blatant show of idiocy, as animals are considered innocent since they do not have the abililty to reason therefore they are not accountable for their actions. and the "it" he is referring to could be his girlfriends love. and holding it in his arms is simply metaphorical for him once having her love. oh well maybe I am thinking too deep for a song of such a terrible magnitude. |

this song is not amazing, you can not even understand what the guy is saying until the final 53 seconds of the song, seriously how can you call this music? the final 53 seconds are very good actually, now maybe if they didn't just yell at random stuff for the first 2:21 of the song then this would be a good song, but it isn't. |
