Just a few points. The last line of the third verse should read unsupervized instead of and supervized i think. I've stuggled with what this could mean myself. I've come to the conclusion it's about an affair with a married woman or a woman that perhaps is involved with someone very close to the narrator. Here comes the fall being the the resignment to the fact it can't carry on and isn't to last. The dirtpile could either be, just where the narrator ends up as a result, or where he would end up if the marriage was broken up by him. The 'soul can take' is again a furtherance of this consequence, I can only assume that the 'third' is the other man involved. 'The soul can wait' again a little oxymoronic, seems to toil back and forth, without a conclusion. Ultimately there isn't a perfect one either way.. |
