This song has so many meanings behind it which makes it a great song. Obviously it's about his dad disapproving of him & his personal choices in life & wanting him to be proud. It's the sense of losing a realtionship/friendship in "nothing lasts forever" & "i'm sorry i can't be perfect" It's how they can't go back and now "nothing's alright" |

This song is incredible. This is pretty self explanitory, but the best thing about this song is the guitar solo. My favourite bit is: "Attention please, we interrupt this program, with some disturbing new. I love this song, even though lyrically it's not one of the best. It's pretty self explanitory about how another person is so lucky in love/life whereas this person has no luck, hence "just my luck" I think it's about falling in love with person who's lucky etc. |

One of the best songs on the album in my opinion - the tour version where it was accoustic leading into the drums was excellent, it really excelled the song. I love the line: "Why did I need your proof? When I knew the truth. And I don't know why, I just let it slip by me all the time, I just wish you'd have tried." I lie the fact that it's about parents splitting then it has other subtle meanings. |

This is definately one of my favourites on the album - the accoustic they did was flawless of this. The second verse: "Remember when we scratched our names into the sand And told me you loved me But now that I find That you've changed your mind I'm lost the words And everything I feel for you I wrote down on one piece of paper The one in your hand You won't understand How much it hurts to let you go" I think it's saying that when you really love someone and they've changed their mind, then you reflect the memories and write it as it is. Amazing. |
