| Nada Surf – Your Legs Grow Lyrics

I was at a Nada Surf gig just yesterday, and with announcing the song he said: "the next song is a metaphorical song, it's about your legs growing to the bottom of the sea". With that he started playing.
So my guess is you being able to stand in the middle of the stone cold ocean is the same metaphor as "the weight is a gift". |

Could anybody tell me what it means to sit on ones wall? I've seen some reference to the word "wall" in some other contexts (off the wall e.g.) and I was wondering what the word meant in its figurative sense. Awesome song. |

| Jason Mraz – Sing Glory (That'll Do) Lyrics

I believe this song is called 10,000 motherfuckers, but anyway: This is definitely my favourite song by Mraz, and (just) maybe my favourite of all time. The chords and picking are the same, or at least heavily inspired by Bright Eyes' "Padraic my prince", which is also a great song. Wish Mraz still sounded like this. |
