I think people prefer Fallen over the Open Door because of the way the lyrics were written, and who was behind the songwriting on Fallen? Ben Moody. Is he still in the band? No. So naturally this CD is gonna sound different. This is all Amy and Terry's writing. Which i'm sorry to say isn't as good as Ben's. But come on now, the guy's working with people like Lindsay Lohan now all so that his music can become mainstream and commercial and that's kinda why he left. The rest of the band didn't wanna go in the same direction as he was. As for the song........ok so its about a breakup/weakening of one's faith..........i still don't get the title though. |
