This one is a hard one to decipher. Tarja even said she had no idea what the song was suppose to say. Drawing from what Tuomas said about the song, it seems like it talks about the hidden lust within people. The sin in the song is lust for sure and the idea of the wolf betraying the lamb might be about the dark desires over taking the woman's ability to reason. I think what makes this song difficult is the fact that it is sung by a woman. If there was a male voice, the meaning would be totally different. |

This song is obviously refers to the world today. It basically describes how corrupted and disgusting society is. The Ark represents the idea of Noah preserving the world and in the song, it shows that the way the world is today, there is nothing worth saving. |

There are a lot of ways to take this song. It could be about someone who realized the love they had once they let it go, or it could be about someone who is in love but cannot seem to express it. What I find most interesting is that Tarja says she hates the way she sounds in this song. I think she sounds amazing. |

This song is NOT about Jesus Christ. Tuomas has stated several times that Christ was not the subject of the lyrics. If you watch the music video, the man in the video spends his whole life trying to build wings. It's a symbol of attempting to reach perfection, to be divine, but his actions go unnoticed. |
