I think he may mean that by "I still hold your hand in mine. In mine when I'm asleep." That he dreams of her and when hes asleep they are still togther and hes able to hold her hand. This Guy is truly amazing, I just noticed at the end of the song when hes done singing Hollow" he lets out a whimper, as though the song brought him to tears, its that passion he sings with that brings his words to lif for me |

I love this song as well. In so many ways it reminds me of parts of myself. I guess any prodigal son can relate in some way or another. I just listen to it and realize im a young billy making mistakes. the teeny boppers will loose interest in weeks , as for myself its been in my car for about 2 months straight. |

I agree Pirate Queen, I saw him in london as well and something about him gave me the shivers, he is a genious and even more so he has a passion(that will no doubt be lost through american corporate exposure) But until that day comes he has the potential of being the cat stevens of my generation(yes thats acompliment) As for the song i am convinced its about a lover dying, if not physically then symbolically at the least. The line in cry when he says " lived to see a lovers final breath" just naturally linked the two together for me |

It is however a decent song for BR which would be a great song by any other band |
