it's so crazy how much producers affect the finished product when is comes to jmraz his cds (esp rocket) sound very contrived. his live stuff is soooo different. but this is why i love him even more- he's so versatile and does well with me both ways. i remember reading a real bad review from rolling stone or something. and they just trash mr. a-z and talk about how conceited this song is. my point is that jmraz's songs are very playful and you're not supposed to take him seriously. i guess only certain people get that, which is a shame, because they're missing out. |

um...if you're talking about the video version, its called stuck on you by lionel ritchie and yes, toca is singing. toca's got a lovely voice, sometimes i feel it's wasted just singing backup. and this is one of the songs that you should download every version of because he always changes the cover song that he adds into it. for example: poison by bel biv devoe, wanna be startin something by michael jackson, and a lot of times, the remedy. |

i absolutely love this song. there are times when i would put my ipod on repeat and listen to this song over and over for about 3 weeks straight. i agree with lethological... it's hard to interpret jmraz's songs word for word. but after listening to them, it just gives you this feeling and you automatically understand what he means. ]now suddenly the thousand things i've seen were nothing more than dreams of you and me.] brilliant!! |
