| I broke down and cried when I first heard this song. For some time I was really depressed and alone and wouldn't leave the house or talk to friends or socialize in anyway. I didn't like going out in public and felt really ugly. I was really empty. The title is really clever. It's sort of like god fucked up with me and no matter how i look, i'll never feel any better before i know myself and then accecpt it. It's a really worthless feeling. It's like i'm never good enough for anyone. I don't think it's about being selfish at all. It also has an element of internet profiles, which is a really good illistration of how people judge you based on looks because they don't know anything else. It's my favorite song the band has ever written. | |
