Auf www.aurora-acht.de gibt es in den Interviews einige gute Einblicke in die Bedeutung der Lieder auf a.Ura. http://www.aurora-acht.de/1024x768/htmldocs/interview_gothic.php Das Stück „Die Zähne in der Hand" stellt den Höhepunkt der Platte dar. Der Protagonist kehrt von seiner Reise zurück und findet am frühen Morgen sein „Ego" neben der Liebe seines Lebens liegend vor. Es entbrennt ein blutiger Kampf, der auf a.Uras Kosten ausgetragen wird und dessen Ziel es ist, dem Gegner die Zähne auszuschlagen, um mit ihnen in der geballten Faust noch fester zuschlagen zu können. Ich wollte mich am Ende der Geschichte mit mir selbst konfrontieren und den Kampf, den ich in mir innerhalb des letzten Jahres ausgetragen habe, noch einmal Revue passieren lassen. Da dieser Kampf mit äußerst harten Bandagen gekämpft wurde, habe ich die Metapher der „Zähne in der Hand" gewählt. |

Later on, he is betrayed by his loved one, who knew about the spot on his shoulder. She is convinced by Hagen of Tronje to "mark the spot so I may watch over it in battle." And so on. |
