I dont see the whole falling in love with the best friend. But i agree that he has doen something wrong because he says "To hide from our twisted ways, I've been hiding in this bed".
But this song is great, i love the part where it says "If your stomach feels week then my work here is DONE!!"

It could be just me but i think this version and Juno sound exactly the same. But anyway i absolutely adore this song. I love the line "in your arms i'm defined" and of course the best part is the breakdown "and yet i'm nothing more than a line in your book" yep i can relate to that one. |

This was the first alexisonfire song i heard. The saw the quote "dressed to kill you look so right, i am drunk with lust tonight" and i downloaded the song and im glad it did, because it introuduced me to the wonderful band that alexisonfire is. I'm not really sure how to interpret it, im pretty sure its not about rape though?? i really dont understand that theory. I think maybe its about a man who knows a girl and one night he see's her looking really good and that opens up his eyes to the fact that there was always something there between them. Im probably just looking at the obvious though |

I dont understand how people dont like this song. The lyrics are indeed simple, but thats what makes it special. Maybe his feelings for "emily" were just so plain, simple and obvious, thats the only way he could convey his feelings. anyway thats just my opinion, i really love this song. cant wait for their new album. |

Probably my favorite from first to last song. I agree with Sincerly Beth, this song is about people obsesed with their looks and what people think of them. But i can see how it would fit in with those website "You'll be the last girl on my list
