i heard this song for the first time today and the first thing i said was "is this the pixies?" it is the most blatant rip off i think i've ever heard aside from "don't look back in anger" by oasis taking off john lennon's "imagine". In saying that, i love "don't look back in anger" :) and this song is pretty good as well, so i don't have a problem with it :) just cut elwyn5150 some slack. |

Whoever said that Rob Smith would be turning in his grave if he was dead due to comparisons of Blink with the Cure obviously has no clue. Rob Smith sung the majority of "All of This" on the latest album by Blink 182 and is one of their biggest fans. In addition to this, Blink often cites the Cure as one of their biggest influences, so put that in your pipe and smoke it. Anyway, this song actually reminds me a lot of the song "Lullaby" by the Cure, especially the second verse, about lying in bed depressed and being eaten from the inside out by spiders. I think the spiders probably represent Tom's emotions and the overall meaning of this is the fact that the relationship is gone and he misses the girl as the title would suggest. |

I think this is about a relationship where no matter what the guy does the girl isn't satisfied. He gives her something, and she either thinks that he's doing it for ulterior motives or she just isn't grateful. I think it's also about a lack of committment on the guys behalf "Your lip tastes sour
But you think that it's me just teasing you" i don't know about the whole Jason Stollsteimer thing or who he even is so I can't really shed any light on that :S can someone explain? |

Hmmm Cold is pretty much about a relationship where the guy loves the girl more than she loves him. The word "fly" could mean that she's ready to leave the relationship and he's basically saying that he doesn't want that, but if she goes, then she's going to regret it: "you will go without, the better part of me" also the whole notion of cold could suggest she doesn't really care too much about what she's doing to his emotional state and feelings. |
