Pink Floyd – Breathe Lyrics 20 years ago
I didn't read everything on this page so... I may repeat things already said.

I think On The Run represents war. Just as important in the 70s as time and money.

Also DSoTM is awesome sound quality and the re-master is even better. Its amazing. Coincidentally does anyone own the 5:1 surround realease of this album? I don't, I just want to see how amazingly better it is than the original.

Pink Floyd – San Tropez Lyrics 20 years ago
Far-glung? Wtf? Thats pretty bad, whoever typed those.

But still... What does Roger mean by all this... it really doesn't make any sense in context.

Led Zeppelin – D'yer Mak'er Lyrics 20 years ago
Oh and, is that like a vocal drum beat in the background? I couldn't hear it well enough to tell. If it is, I think the whisper at the end is just added to that.

Led Zeppelin – D'yer Mak'er Lyrics 20 years ago
Okay... I'm not sure if this is right. (And yes, I did read the last 3 pages... all very confusing)

I think the title is based on the joke, and the song was written after the title... So the title means "Did you make her" and the music means "Jamaica(er)" And the lyrics are a very strange combination of the two. Genious really.

George Harrison – Isn't It a Pity Lyrics 20 years ago
Thats exactly how I feel Joshiez. George was definetly a better writer than John though... In opinion. I mean, He was a much better musician so naturally... But getting back to this song, I interpret this song as meaning that people are hurting themselves and others by thinking they are better than each other instead of realizing that everyone is the same. (Which I kinda disagree with, but nobody knows really.)
P.S. George had the best solo career by far.

George Harrison – Living In The Material World Lyrics 20 years ago
I think this entire song is based on Buddhist and general spiritual beliefs. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) he was the only Beatle that stuck with Buddhism.

"Use my body like a car,
Taking me both near and far
Met my friends all in the material world"

I thought about these beliefs and I'm not sure but I think the above quote means that he doesn't care about physical things. He doesn't care about how people look, he only cares about them. Thats what it means to me anyway.

"Met them all there in the material world
John and Paul here in the material world
Though we started out quite poor
We got 'Richie' on a tour
Got caught up in the material world"

^^ Obvioulsy about the Beatles. And by richie, he probably means that they started caring less about the music and more about the band.

I dunno... generally some of these lyrics sound suicidal. e.g. "I hope to get out of this place
by the LORD SRI KRSNA'S GRACE"
Among others.

So thats all I have so far... maybe I'll update if I figure out more.
