Avenged Sevenfold – Sidewinder Lyrics 20 years ago
I agree with what was said above about the tree that gives knowledge in the bible. It is probably about the serpent's point of veiw and it switches between the serpents real thoughts and Satan's thoughts. "I can't regret, can't escape decisions made for me, no control" that says that the serpent has no control over what he is doing, so it is a fight inside the serpents own self on what to do, but Satan takes him over

Avenged Sevenfold – The Wicked End Lyrics 20 years ago
This whole song is one Biblical reference talking about the end of the world(Book of Revelation) and original sin and baptism. "dust the apple off and savor each bite, deep inside you know adam was righ...Left with his sins, how does this end?" A clening of the sin in our world.

Avenged Sevenfold – Trashed and Scattered Lyrics 20 years ago
This is my favorite song on the new album. It is practically my anthem. The first verse is saying that you shouldn't let anyone else tell you what you think and what you should believe. The refrain could be about people talking you down and how the lives they lead are crap. Also it talks about city life, how it really is, and how it is doomed. The second verse is about people that talk behind your back and that he doesn't care what anybody says. One line is sarcastic. Everything people make up is crap and so farfetched that no one could belive it and he laughs at the ridiculous statements. Actually, this song could be about the bands new sound and the "I dont give a fuck" attitude that they had when making this album. Great song.

Avenged Sevenfold – Beast and the Harlot Lyrics 20 years ago
first off, this is a great song and i love the new album. i understod when i first heard their new sound because ive tried to scream like he did in WTF and it tears your vocal chords up, and I also know that he had surgery. So with all of those things combined, there came a new sound (just in the vocals). The guitar work, drumming, and bass work is still amazing as can be, though. I personally love the new sound beacuse its easier to sing.

On to the song, there are a couple of different thing this song could mean. I think one part is just talking about indulgence and how its not always a bad thing. Also, the second verse could be about the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah from the Bible. The other Biblical reference is the part about Babylon and it's destruction. A7X isn't losing my fanship until they do something completly outragous to their sound.
