| Glasvegas – It's My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I kind of agree, but I find that once you have read what the lyrics a few times over you can understand it. Glasvegas have made me fall so in love with the Scottish and their accents! I think Glasvegas' accent really keeps them true to their heritage, and it diplays massive honesty and a uniqueness that blows everyone away! |

SuperAlly, I think the song is actually from a mothers perspective. In an interview on Q radio James was saying that when he heard about this incident he couldn't help but think of his own mother and how she would feel in that kind of situation. Also, to me it just seems like more of a motherly figure speaking. But hey, I guess it could possibly be parents in general? lol. |

| The Like – End of an Era Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
you, you call my name i felt the same walking through the everglades and i, i hear your voice i felt no choice had to run so far away i can see you i can't calm my ways we grew old and vain we looked the same circumstances crossed our ways and now you've gone and left oh why? i'll ask never to return again i would miss you try to notice that i would miss you try to notice that this is the end of an era (welcome to the modern age) this is the end of our days (welcome to the modern age) and though we talked about it dreamed how it could be (in the modern age) we're not the way we planned to be are we? are we? i would miss you try to notice that i would miss you try to notice that this is the end of an era (welcome to the modern age) this is the end of our days (welcome to the modern age) and though we talked about it dreamed how it could be (in the modern age) we're not the way we planned to be are we? are we? |

| Oasis – All Around The World Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Oasis is cool and so are the Beatles. We shouldn't compare with other artists songs. Who cares? We should care about who wrote it and no one else. | |

| Matchbox Twenty – All I Need Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I agree with everyone here. Everywhere someone's getting over Everybody cries and sometimes You can still lose even if you really try Talking 'bout the dream like the dream is over Talk like that won't get you nowhere Everybody's trusting in the heart Like the heart don't die : ) |

| Matchbox Twenty – Long Day Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I absolutely love the first two lines of this song: It's sitting by the overcoat, the second shelf the note she wrote. Rob Thomas is such a talented musician. He writes with passion and feeling which just hypnotises my mind. This song as well as many other Matchbox 20 songs is a personal favourite. When Rob sings, it sounds real, not just singing to sell, singing to teach. To me the song is about someone leaving his life and him missing her. He explains why he treats her the way he does and how he needs her. He is missing her. It's been a long day. He needs hope. |

| Green Day – American Idiot Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This whole poll thing has turned into a major argument. It is a song and we are meant to be talking about it but the whole thing has gone out of hand, with people swearing and arguing about what they think they now. Are we even talking about the same song? To me the song is about: Some real political issues are mentioned, the inevitable result of Green Day's passionately negative feelings towards George W. Bush, but the story is really about the life of a rebellious youth. The main character, Jesus of Suburbia, must choose an outlet for his rebellion: finding what he truly believes and fighting for it, or self-destruction. The whole American Idiot Album is about Jesus of Suburbia. |
