It's strange this is suppose to be a really depressing song but I dont really thinkof it like that.....It starts of slow then goes into a punk poppy bursts into a louder song alltogether... From here* think of all the things I'd say to you if I had the chance again I think of all the things I'd scream But I think it's for the best That you and I just don't connect and Things are never quite what they seem The songs in away is like the song Waggy From Dude Ranch....The fear the responsability of a serious relationship at a young age....it has a pretty obvious meaning girl likes Mark but he doesn't feel the same way......maybe he doesn't want to be a jerk and just ditch her so he feels guilty and doen that he cant feel the same way because she is a nice person....... The word Cacophony mean a harsh sound which probably relates to the time when he tells the feelings he has to the girl and the feeling inside him are load and disturbing making him feel extremely guilty...but like waggy the end of the song suggests they are young and life goes on alot more time for relationships..... This song I never used to play that often but now I do play it now and then I think because I've never been in a serious relationship I can't relate to it but I can totally understand why people like it so much...... This song is s powerful....this song is probably one of my favourites......its full of energy and makes me want to play guitar and leap about....when ever I'm feeling down or slighty bored of the day I'll play this song...it basically telling a story of don't live in the past move forward don't get depressed over something overcome it...just say f**k it and carry on your life......I love these lyrics I don't wanna live this lie again (I don't wanna live this lie again) I know I'll get it right but I don't know when I'll open my eyes, I've got something in side I'll just jack off in my room until then - its a song about a girl who maybe at one stage was the one but after so long the are feelings lost their is slight regret but hey ......thats life......you have to make your own choices even if someone else gets hurt in the process..... I believe the title 'WAGGY' is Marks word for burping... Great song....blink at their best....If you haven't got Dude Ranch Get it!!!!!! |

This is in my top ten blink songs.....its really underrated its was hardly played live and it isn't talked about that much...Dude Ranch has really been over shadowed by the later albums...its a real shame considering dude ranch shows blink with the most amount of energy in the sence that the songs are more powerful and less studioized....dodn't get me wrong I like the Enema and TOYPAJ but they are far to studioized compared to Dude Ranch.....Apple Shampoo doesn't have a chorus the song is different in a good way and thats why I ove it so much...I believe the song is about a girl Mark knew who he perhaps liked and her hair smelt like Apple Shampoo...whether this is true or not I do not know but its a damn good song that shoud have been put on the greatest hits, After Scott left the band the rest of the band have in away left the early songs from Buddha, Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch in the past which is a shame because many people don't understand how brilliant blink 182 where...the early stuff is 10000000000000 times better then the new album which I have barly listened to, Apple Shampoo is one of the best tracks of Dude Ranch and its one of the best blink 182 songs ever written, |

| Wow I love this song.....this in my opinion shows blink 182 at their best...why wasn't it on the Greatest hits??? this song mixs anger and humour its so cool when I first heard it I just thought the riff was amazing its simple but whats that matter its one of my favourite blink 182 songs...loads better than the new self-titled album thats rubbish. | |
