This song makes me crack up. I wish I could play this song to a certain someone on their birthday, but I'm trying to be the "bigger person" or whatever. It's too bad. But Moz's lyrics pwn nonetheless. |

To me, 'If you could only see the way she loves me' suggests that the girl loves him immensely. "Why I feel this way about our love/And what I must do" probably means that he doesn't love her as much as she loves him, so what he "must do" is break up with her before he totally breaks her heart. I think the thing about the 'blue eyes' makes her seem honest, so I don't think she is lying about loving him or whatever. When he said "You're stretching out your arms to something that's just not there" I don't think he's talking about himself, he's probably talking about her, so maybe it's like she's putting more into the relationship than he is?? I know there are some inconsistencies with my little explanation, but it was my best shot. |
