It's about people who talk about how things should be, but never actually do anything. These lines show that pretty clearly: We all believe we have the right to make believe we know what's right but how much will it take to make you stand and be heard? And this: Tell me what is worth dying for? Would you give up everything to make one lasting point? He's asking, would you be willing to die for what you believe is right? He's also saying that he doesn't care, he's just along for the ride. There's some political feelings in there. |

It's quite obviously about his conversion to Satanism. Matt's a satanist, and a large part of satanism is embracing the vices that Christianity is so against. The line "But Iām better now having a good time Being selfish, and drunken, and vulgar, and lazy" speaks directly about that. |
