Whoever submitted this has missed out the choruses, which completely misses the point of the song. The last chorus delivers the twist: "My love has gone No earthly ships will ever bring him home again." Meaning that she is reading the postcards after his death. A brilliantly written, heartbreaking song. Faithless at their best. |
