Yeah, pretty much about being depressed or bipolar and just trying your hardest not to be. And if that doesn't work (it regulary doesn't in my experience) just pretending you're not. "Crawl back into bed to dream of a time when your heart was open wide And you loved things just because Like the sick and the dying" I love this line. I always do that before I go to sleep. Thinking back about when I was little and I just loved life for no particular reason. It's just that when you're a kid you don't question whether or not you're happy, you just are. At least, that was the case for me back then. :) I do think it's really depressing but I absolutely agree with you Caitelle. Friends have a tendency to drop you when you show you're unhappy. I learned the hard way. It's either acting happy or ending up alone. |

But he can see through that and knows that inside she's bursting with passion and idea's and stuff. So she's like a black object, an object that has actually absorbed all colors, it's just not visible to the eye. He's trying to comfort her, telling her not to worry about all those other people because he sees her for who she truely is. This is fact not fiction For the first time in years I think here he's saying this girl really is special to him. It's not one of those relationships for the sake of having a relationship.. when you're just telling yourself you love the other person, you know (fiction). This time his love is an actual fact. But I know it's too late I should have given you a reason to stay He had a chance with this girl, but he blew it, because he didn't realize how special she was from his first impression of her (like everyone else). Now he does, but it's too late and she's moved on. Maybe not the actual meaning, just my interpretation. I love, love, love this song. The lyrics are just.. perfection. I actually had a dream about this guy who has rejected me. He gave me a mixtape and this was on it. A very nice dream indeed. Gehe. |

Maybe this sounds kind of nuts to all of you, but I do it all the time. archer, I think your theory is far from stupid. It's the exact vibe I get from the song. I think it's kind of saying.. so when you finally get everything you want, will it make you happy? Because then you won't have much to strive for anymore. "wheels of your life" mean like.. goals or something to me. Because goals (like wheels) keep you going, they make you feel like there's a reason for your existence. Maybe all this sounds like nonsens to you, but well, it's my interpretation. I'm not a huge oasisfan by the way, but I really love some of their music, like this song. |
