Conor did lend his voice on some of the other tracks. I see no reason why he didn't do the same with this one. I de believe it's him. Then again, other Saddle Creek figures have impersonated as him before. |

But a kid carries his walkman / I know a girl who cries..
To me these lines correlate to eachother. Conor makes fun of his own music, his genre, and shows how little it means in the first refrains and makes two examples of what music should really be about. It's in a sense a boy who simply wants a song to pass the time, and a girl who plays from the heart, pure. An art in taking and an art in giving that both stand for themselves. Anything other than that isn't really music at all. |
