| I found this band through TWLOHA (and found out they're playing a festival I'm going to next week :D) I found their purevolume and listened through and this song just stood out to me, I just really liked it, upon listening to it I thought it was about a boy who cared about her, but when I read the lyrics up there and saw the capital H's I figured it was referring to religion, I have to kinda agree with demimondaine (even though I was brought up with religion) that I prefer it being about a person, mainly because I feel that religion isn't for everyone....but there's always people around, and someone has to be able to help..... | |

| This song seems to be about a guy giving it one last try to keep a relationship going, he's trying to get the other person to remember all the good times they've shared through their time together ('Think of everything we had'), and make them think about whether or not they really want to lose all that ('So just take this time to think') and the chance to make new memories ('Think of everything we haven't had') . He's trying to convince them that there could be a future for them ('I still believe in you'), he's made his view that he wants it to carry on very clear and he's leaving it entirely up to the other person ('It's all up to you'). | |

It seems as if this song is meant as like a final attempt to fix a broken relationship ('whilst I sing this song to try to make amends'), however, by the end of it, it seems that they feel that their attempts were futile, ('it's gone away, you're never coming back')$. There seems to be some bitterness involved ('no you can't go to hell','through all the curses, all the blame'), The person seems to feel bad for thinking these things ('cut the verses from my mind, 'cause they all seem unkind'), which may well be to do with still having feelings for the other person, so it makes them very confused, as if all the things in their head are contradicting each other. They seem unable to think that friendship is an option, and that things just can't return to how they were, possibly referring to a friendship before the relationship ('can anything become the same again? I've lost a friend'). Everything they had together suddenly feels as if it meant nothing to the other person, ('all the love we shared, it's like you never cared'). |

This song seems to be about a person coming to terms with someone breaking up with them. The person doesn't want people's pity ('But don't feel bad for me'), or to get revenge on anyone ('not looking to settle the score'), they just wanna be left alone ('so please let me be'). They're looking at everything in a very negative way, giving up hope on what was ('I always thought I would be so much more'), and not having much hope for the future ('and in the end that's where I'll be'). It refers to the repetativeness that can occur at the end of a relationship, with the same things being said over and over and people just going round in circles ('there's nothing new it's all been done before' 'got nothing to say anymore Originality went out that door'). They feel like they have done everything that they can, and now are just giving up all hope of regaining what they once had, and so just want to be away from everyone, possibly just curl up and vanish ('not finding what I'm looking for so please let me be'). They seem to be feeling very emotionally weak, with little hope of recovery. It's always been one of my fav. PWTs songs! |

| I think there's a possibility this song is maybe about a relationship breakdown, and either, the self hating, or the feeling of just hating everything around you, related to that. It seems that the person involved is confused about things ('I'm not feeling this situation'), and the other person isn't making things any easier for them ('once more...wanna hear?'). They just feel that they should be left alone, like they can't be trusted to be with people ('just back off before I snap'). It's a really great song! | |
