Science fails to recognize the single most Potent element of human existence letting the reigns go to the unfolding Is faith, faith, faith, faith. This song is great! the lyrics are actually good, compared to many of their other songs anyway :) Its a shame people in this discusion dont think about what the terms 'religion' and 'faith' actually mean before using them tho... Faith and religion does not always have anything to do with supernatural persons/beings, in the same way that driving does not always have anything to do with cars... So when someone says something like "religion (even faith?) should be banned", they are asking a lot, because one person can put faith in lots of things and do many things in a religious manner... And about science not being a religion.. it IS because it fits what the word religion means. Science (unless you disagree) is something that:- can be relied on; people put faith(trust, confidence) in; many people are devoted to; something that can be believed; and has practices that are carried out in a religous(scrupulous or contientious) manner. :P Sorry for long post, what i really meant to say was this song ownz :) |

i feel this song is about how you feel when you try hard to be what God wants you to be like, but you slip and afterwards you cant believe what you just did. you have asked Jesus to forgive you and even though you know He has, you still find it hard to deal with regret and the feeling that you have failed God. but you deeply want Jesus to stay close to you and earnestly vow to try harder next time; not to fail Him. this song is amazing. i can relate to it better than i would like :( |
