The first time I heard this song it was on their DVD and it BLEW ME AWAY. I had never heard Zep play this way before. This song doesn't even belong to the classic rock genre, it's that crazy. I think they wrote this song about playing in front of thousands of fans and being on the road and the hardships of touring. I also think they talk about starting Led Zeppelin, "I looked at you, you smiled at me how could we say no..." I think he is literally talking about being asked to join the band.....thats what I think |

To me this song sounds like an album filler. I mean the composition is sloppy and thrown together, the riffs aren't very cleaned up and it sounds like a very off-the-head type of song. But the song is one of my favs., if not my favorite Zep song because it's atmosphere is huge and the lyrics are very mysterious and positive. |

Obviously Hetfield was being ultra-truthful about himself in this song. He speaks about issues from his past and how they effect him today. Every single person on this planet can relate to the lyrics in this song, they touch home so deeply and that is why this is Hetfields best written song. |
