When I first heard the song and the words "maybe I just don't believe" I thought it might have been him being afraid of death because he doesn't know what is on the other side and doesn't believe in it. It could be afraid of fame dying, too. These themes can weave into one another. It's just such a great song. I'm glad I heard it at just the right time in my life, totally captures what I felt and still feel. |

this is such a good song. it's a remake of an old standard from like, the 40s or something like that, but it's an old song. but it's definately about lost love in a foreign land and the quest to find it agan. |
