nice Tomauto I thought I was the only that caught the play on the Dylan song. I forgot where I read this but the song supposedly was inspired by two incidents in Thom Yorke's life. The first was an assignment he received in school to wrtite about the perspective of an alien's visit to earth. The second was when he hit a bird on a road and as he got out and saw the bird he started to think about an alien abduction. Either way it's still one of my all time fave radiohead songs. I can never choose between this song and fake plastic tress as my favorite. I honestly hear this song almost everyday on my IPOD...great song |

I really haven't researched this one but its an amazing song. I get this feeling that it's a split she may have had with a lover or friend about God, sprituality etc..Sinead is known for her spirituality..dunno just a guest. The live version is amazing especially when the bag pipes (i think they are bag pipes) kick in. |
