the beginning is obviously about Christians' mistreatment of gays. the change at the end isn't a change in the narrator's heart, necessarily, it's a depiction on how many evangelicals will try to accept gays in word, but not necessary accept them in deed. btw, my name on here isn't accurate. i'm a conservative, evangelical Christian who understands the songs and understands that gays are sinners as we all are. |
