| To me the song is about a break up. The couple has ended and for the most part they aren't on speaking terms. The person being talked about in the song is going around telling his friends all these things about their ex and all he is saying in the song is that eventually this won't bother him anymore. That they are over and the other person can say whatever they want but it is still going to hurt for now and eventually it won't anymore. | |
