I'm surprised that there were no lyrics for Loudon, let alone comments, when his son's section on this site is absolutely bursting. Loudon Wainwright, from my little experience, is rarely vague about the subject of his songs, they're deeply personal and open. I won't bother going through what this song means, but listen to it. It's a good song. |
