Yes that's correct. This song was written about Lost star 'Evangeline Lilly'. It's a pretty self explanatory song really. The cool thing is that h wrote it before she had even landed the role in Lost, and this is her first big role, so its nice that he liked her even before stardom. |

I also think that setting the fire to the third bar is just an expression. The lines which say:
'After I have travelled so far
We'd set the fire to the third bar
We'd share each other like an island
Until exhausted, close our eyelids'
This is saying to me that, well. the first part of the song is him sizing up the journey and figuring out what he must do and this part is saying to me he's travelled all this way and he's got to her residence and they've set the fire to the third bar, as in an electric heater, and he's so exhausted from the journey that they're enjoying each others company until exhaustion catches up and he falls asleep. |

'The Sun' is a national british newspaper. Theres a lot of rumours and allegations made in there that put them in a bad light. I think the line about Where they want the money back is either a deal they had with the newspaper or an interview that went wrong etc.. |

I agree with Psychoteen thats a top notch summary. The vocals just give me shivers up and down my spine, It's just such a well put together package; The video, The vocals, The music, It's such a chilling song, You feel drained after listening to it, brings me to the verge of tears everytime I listen. |
