Right off the bat, this is easily one of my favorite tracks from the new album.
But anyway, the song is about a relationship that's gone to shit. I love how IATA shows it with this line especially:
Six feet of dirt between you and the snow.

Yes indeedy, awesome song. The verses pretty much explain deep affection. Then the chorus sounds like the guy is the kind to get deeply attached but is still immature. Still...a great, great, song. |

Great song indeed folks. The singer talks about everything that happens in everyday life, little things that seem trivial and they are because life is short. Short, but not meaningless. Yeah, we are all like dust in the wind and whatever like Kansas sings. But still, we just have to do what we can with what time we have. Do what we want and/or what we think is right. Bleh. Sounds cheesy. |

This song is definitely one of my favorites. I've been exploring rock music for a good year and a half now and TBS rawks.
(All the cards begin to stack up, twisting heartache into fine little pieces that avoid an awful crime)
I guess this song is about a guy and a girl in a dysfunctional relationship or waiting for a relationship to happen while she's still messing around or whatnot. They can't seem to get together because of all these issues in between them and it starts to get to him. But no matter what he seems to put up with it.
(We swing and we sway)Kinda like so close, yet so far but can't get there.
I like xxswitchbladesxx interpretationg too. Hey, everyones got their own interpretation. there's mine. Awesome song. |

THanks for the correction. This song has so many connections to the movie Princess Bride. The old couple at the end who were together for like 38 years and didn't leave her, True love never dies that WEsley resembles thanks to Miracle Max's potion and how he and Buttercup are together at the end. Yup. These dudes watch too many movies. |

Whoa, I'm surprised no one too a guess at the meaning. Well here goes. I'm sick so bear with me:
Two indecisive, naive people who are kinda hesitant at where they're at in the relationship. Could be friends who don't want to ruin a friendship and they're kinda at a lost on what to do from there.
There goes my interpretation at an awesome song.
Anyone else taking a shot at this? |

Song is awesome. I love how the guitar kicks in during the beginning of the song. Oh yea, lyrics are great too. Sounds like he screwed up pretty bad, like a one night stand at a party while he was in a long distance one maybe? Eh. |

the song is about being in love. they been together for a long long time, hence the 38 years. the song really doesnt have the feel of falling out of love. i think the part aobut him leaving her is him dying, the "death do us part" since theyre married and all. still, the song is freakin awesome |
