whoever says the genocide didnt happen is either ignorant, in denial, or just a stupid fuckin idiot. Theres dead bodies in the places where the genocide took place. Mass graves. This world is going in a downward spiral. I think that to prevent another genocide from happening we need to look at what took place in the genocides that happened in the past instead of denying it. If you are turkish and you don't believe the genocide took place it's just because you have too much pride for your nation. I am American and i have pride for my nation but i don't deny that my nation is murdering people for oil. Being patriotic about your nation is ok but being ignorant and denying the the crimes that your nation is commiting is wrong.
With all that being said I think that this song could either be about the war in Iraq, the Armenian genocide, or a prediction of what the world will come to in the future. I think this is the best song on the Hypnotized album. |

This song could be about suicide because he says waiting for the tomb of some old dying man. It's like he knows he's going to die. ANd i went to a concert in august and daron changed the lyrics to that part and said sitting in my room with a shotgun in my hand instead of a needle. I don't know for sure but I think it means that the only way to be free is to die and pulling out the tapeworm means pulling the trigger and killing yourself. |

George Bush started the war and i can't prove that it was for oil but whatever it was for it wasn't worth 2,000 soldiers dying. Why cant we just have peace and all get along. |
