mhh, no clue but to add to the Toronto comment, St Andrew is a street in Kensington Market and I know they filmed there first video there and maybe it's reference to that, their is also a church on St. Andrew as well |

I think this song means to act and be yourself. The main lyrics are living on the outside of your skin, which to me means to live and act the way you do inside. "Forget the words you think you were sayin, cause your thoughts seem to be thinking otherwise" to me means that you you say what your thinking and not mask what you really feel to act or please whoever your talking too. |

I'm sick of people saying there is NO good music today, there is some amazing music if you know where to look. Sure the stuff that has become the most popular and is pushed by some radio stations and music tv channels is mostly crap (Lindsey Lohan, good charlotte, ludicrus) with a few exceptions (white stripes, bedouin soundclash, kanye west etc...). Some great places to find new music on the web, KEXP radio, NPR all songs considered, pitchfork, metacritic. It is true they might not become legends like led zeppelin, the clash. But there is so much more music out there then in the 60's and 70's because it is costing bands nothing to distribute and nothing for people to listen to it and just because a band has signed a major contract with a big record company or appeared on a TV show or TV commercial in the end there are making money from this (which a lot of bands desperately need) but they are also getting their music out there in a different medium besides radio and they are creating the option of making more music. If you listen to the music on crap shows like the OC and One tree hill they are actually choosing music that is good instead of what is popular and including some classic bands like zeppelin and the replacements. Music is not dead, you just have to know where to look. Here is some examples of some great bands that have come out recently, Okkervil river, Built to spill, Citizen cope, Bright Eyes, Spoon, Sufjan Stevens, Ben Harper, the gossip, strays don’t sleep, Arcade Fire, John Legend etc… etc… etc… |
