this song to me first off, is one of the best songs i have ever heard. The pure emotion in jesse's voice and the breathing. Second to me this song is about a failed relationship that did so because of a cheating partner as in " they call them rouges they travel fast and alone" means someone who came out of nowhere and messed everything up. I think the beging of the so parts about "shallows off the tip of montoch point" ment the relation"ship" is in the clear and nothings going wrong. All of a sudden after this incident everything turned bad, he started dispising the girl for who she was and al her friends he realized that this relation"ship" was sinking. over the course of this he helps it along by just saying the wrong things wrong times, just spiraling downward. And finnaly at the end of the son when jesse says "never to see any other way" hes still talking to the girl, shes never going to respect him as him and will always need someone else. again this is just what my mulling it over for two years has broughtout. |
