| This is a really powerful song and think it has a deep meaning like all the other stiand songs. Its about how fake the world is and everyone around, how people become influenced by what they see on the television. It also shows how complex human emotion is and how people cause suffering to the people around. The whole song it like a journey through the bad times when your as low as you can get and about the times when life is worth living, but when it comes down to it life is a twisted game that some people are better at playing than others. The song explains how people find a way of escaping through reasoning with themselves and questioning their views upon life. "You're all programmed to feel this way to live Another day within a world that loves to suffer" this line truly sums up the world we live in today, how many people are the same and seem as if they are robots who live in a programmed world that one day will self destruct. | |

This song means the world to me I remember how it first touched me when I first heard it. The song made such an impact on my life. I think the song is a bout depression and desperation. "So I speak to you in riddles because My words get in my way", I fell these lyrics are about how someone tries to communicate but fails because they cant find the right way to express thier feelings."I smoke the whole thing to my head and feel it Wash away", I think this part of the song refers to the use of drugs to escape reality, if only for a short time, and how the pain seemes to wash away but comes back again. "I am nothing more than a little boy inside That cries out for attention", this part of the song I think shows how someones sees themself as a failure who is alone and scared and wants to hide away from their feelings. "But it's always raining in my head", this shows that someone is in constant pain inside and how there is never any sunlight because of the constant torment that is goin on inside thier head. This song is such a beautiful song and I think it is special to every single stiand fan and each fan has thier own interpritations and place in thier heart for this song. |
