it's pretty crazy how the song does have direct reference to the bible in this one too. I agree with defthrice, only two of the band members are christian so it doesnt make the whole band christian. however, dustin does write the lyrics, and well the lyrics have alot of references to the bible and Christ, so the general idea you get from their music is one of christian values and struggles. I love the piano in it, it makes it so smooth and flowing. The whole song really gives hope, I especially like the line "all of our trials, will be as milestones on the way." It's showing that all the bad stuff we go through is making us who we are and its our choice what we will do with our experiences. Sit in self-pity or help and join together with others to heal each other. It shows that there's going to be a better life, which I believe is referring to Heaven. I really love it. :) |

Wow, I thought the lyrics were so awesome and clear. I could tell right away it was talking about Peter. I bought Vheissu because I love the way their songs have such deeper meanings and it seems like there are more and more christian overtones surfacing. I think it's really neat. Finally a band is talking about things that acutually matter and not sex/drugs and themselves. |
