| Thrice – Cold Cash And Colder Hearts Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Finally a song to shut up all them stupid liberal weenies. War, my friends, is necessary when innocent people are being slaughtered by corrupt people. And here we are, sittin on top of the world, watching them die and whining about war. " exactly. It's war. learn to live with it. for all of you complaining about how america is at the top, would you rather be at the fricken bottom? come on, it's better to be on top. may sound selfish, but at least our asses are getting kicked. but anyway, this song is so meaningful. I think it's pretty obvious what it's about. some of you are just trying to find hidden meaning when there is none. i would say it's not really about government or anything... just about how cruel people can be. how prejudice and everything. |

| Thrice – The Melting Point of Wax Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i love this song. it's one of my favorites on the cd (the other would have to be Artist in the Ambulance). it's just so amazing and creative that Dustin would think to use Icarus as a metaphor. It just blows my mind away. | |
| Straylight Run – Existentialism on Prom Night Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
as someone else said: "existentialism is the belief/practice that you set up your own future. everything you have/do/will do will be a result of your actions you have committed." I think this song is basically just about change. Prom night is a huge night for everyone in high school. Many decisions (some may be life-changing) are made. I think it's about how on Prom Night they finally realized that their life is ahead of them, they need to live it to its fullest, but responsibly. They know they can't change the past, but some of their actions will affect the future. They realized that they are in charge of their life and must handle it delicately. Just be yourself, don't worry what others think because people come and go in and out of your life, so one or two opinions don't really matter in the long run. Something like that anyway. |

| Evanescence – Field Of Innocence Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I love this song... It makes me think about life.... mainly just past memories, experiences, and just being a child. I definately think back to my childhood when hearing this song... just remembering how easier things were.. how there were no REAL worries. My entire life was ahead of me, but all I cared about was playing outside and the only bad thing that happened was when I fell down and got a booboo. Childhood truly was a Field of Innocence for me... and though that may not be what the song is about.. that's definately what it means to me. This song might, like Hello, be related to Bonnie Lee's death. Just kinda what she was feeling what she was only 6 years old and losing her little sister. I don't really know if that's what the song is about.. but it's a possibility. |

i love this version... i like how it has the really louds "bangs" in the background. It just adds to the overall ominous affect of the song. Pretty great. |

| Carrie Underwood – Some Hearts Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Basically it's about how everyone is different, feels different, and gets different chances. Each person is an individual, and a lot of times you can't control what is happening to you. Things happen unexpectedly, but you have to deal with it. | |
| Carrie Underwood – Don't Forget To Remember Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Pretty self explanatory really. Basically she's leaving and she doesn't want everyone to forget her and she doesn't want to forget anyone as well. Everyone who knows her knows that she needs to move on and live on her own and do what she needs to do, and she realizes that. She's starting a new chapter in her life but she doesn't want anyone to forget to remember her. :-) |

| Carrie Underwood – Wasted Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Such a beautiful song... especially when she sings: "I don't wanna spend my life jaded Waitin' to wake up one day and find That I let all these years go by Wasted" Carrie can sing so beautifully. I love it. But anyway, this song is basically about how someone needs to move on with their life and take risks. Not every thing in life can be perfect, you just have to take a chance every now and then or you're going to regret it. |

| The Spill Canvas – Sunsets And Car Crashes Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
oh, btw... i think there are a couple mistakes in the lyrics: first off, i believe that the first time Nick sings the main theme {and in case you, and in case you were wondering....} there are only 2 in case yous, you have three. However, the second time there are three of them {which you have correct} and also, i think it's "Let the rain FILL MY mouth and in a couple of hours I'll be dead" instead of "form my mouth" finally, at the end i think it's "now tell me this do you know how WE'D meet?" not sure... but i think those are more accurate. :-) |

| The Spill Canvas – Black Dresses Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
i have to agree with the depression theory... it all just kinda fits together... especially: "a real character in the story of your now distant life". cause like he broke up with his girlfriend, and now she's distant from him and stuff. he's depressed and he has to move on with his life... grow up and realize that there are other things in life and that he isn't a child anymore. Depression theory fits a lot better than the sex theory.. in my opinion anyway. either way, it's a moving song... so emotional and just beautiful. I wanna cry every time I hear it... |

| The Spill Canvas – Polygraph, Right Now! Lyrics | 20 years ago |

So amazing.. and so true at times: "Fate is an elegant, cold-hearted whore" so brilliant, and yet so true. |

| The Spill Canvas – This Is For Keeps Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
"Follow me into the sea We'll drown together and immortalize you and me Leave behind this lonely town We're both better than this, it's not worth being down" so beautiful... whenever i hear that part it just... melt. It's just so emotional and beautiful. Such a brilliant and heart-felt song that only Spill Canvas could EVER pull off. Absolutely perfect. |

| The Spill Canvas – The Tide Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Gosh, this song.. how can i even begin to describe how emotional it is? This was the first song I've ever heard by Spill Canvas, and after i heard it, i was addicted to all their songs. The best lines in this song HAS to be: "Heaven's not a place that you go when you die It's that moment in life when you actually feel alive So live for the moment." Such beautiful advice and it just, gosh, it's just so true. It seems as if people are just kinda "going through the motions" nowadays, but this song just reminds me to live for the moment, you never know when it'll be your last - and you never know what could of happened if you didn't live life to it's fullest. Just so effin amazing what a song like this can do to you... |

| The Spill Canvas – So Much Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Franniebaby23, i have to agree with you. Spill Canvas really is just heaven sent. The lyrics to all their songs, especially this one, are just so touching and meaningful - it's impossible not to love them. |

| The Spill Canvas – Sunsets And Car Crashes Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
hm... so many different ways to interpret this song... but I'd have to go with the car crash theory.. everything just fits like that... but regardless, the song is utterly amazing and just so thought-provoking. Every time i hear it i just wanna cry cause it's just so sad. Absolutely brilliant. |
|
| The Spill Canvas – Self-Conclusion Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
such an amazing song... shocks me every time i hear it... and i'd have to agree with a lot of people in here that: "Settle precious, I know what you're going through Ten minutes before you got here I was gonna jump too..." Just... fantastic, amazing.... words just can't describe it. Brilliant. |
