To MsKtty89 & Vinuash on Lucas & the Locusts.. It's from the movie Lucas with Corey Haim, he's a nrrrd who can't seem to get the girl because she's content with him being her smart friend. But there's a scene where you learn that he has a love for locusts when he handles a baby locust after a group of jocks hit it with their car.. they then slap it out of his hand and kill it.. |

Actually I agree that he does say "no silence is a bore". It makes much sense when you think of it in context of the song, Why would he said that to a lover? If theres nothing much to say, I'm bored? Or.. we don't have to be constantly talking to be stimulated by each other. & "AC is great at adding tiny details that stick out after repeated listens" It's more like they knwo what its like to listen to music while tripping. You here everything so clearly where you weren't allowing yourself to before. Listening to this band is mind blowing on any sort of psychotropic. Even with a bit of grass, it doesn't take you many listens to feel the layers of sound. Not to mention the whole genius behind drowning out the lyrics with the music. It combines it so you're then comprehending words and sound instantaneously. |

Or mushrooms. And I disagree with "soil"der of god. I don't think Gnarls is saying don't do drugs. This cd is psychedelic in itself, which is what I think makes it so good. |
